Understanding the art of cooling is interesting enough, for understanding it in a better way you first need to know about all the components of the car air conditioning system. The auto ac compressor is the major component that makes the central part of the air conditioning system of the car through which the low pressure and the high pressure hoses comes out which leads to the evaporator and the condenser. The expansion valves and dyers are also important component of the auto air conditioning system. The expansion valves are requiring for regulating the temperature along with controlling the flow of the refrigerant. The anti-freezing agents also move along these valves.
The air conditioning system of the car is not meant to produce cool air into the car rather it is meant for cooling down the hot air that is already present in the car. The coolant or the chemical that is used as the cooling agent in the ac of the car is called the Freon. The entire process takes place in the auto ac compressor where the refrigerant is cooled to form a high temperature gas, which then flows to the condenser through the high-pressure tunnels. Inside the condenser the fresh air comes in contact with the gas and the fresh air absorbs all the heat from the high temperature gas as a result of which the refrigerant takes the form of a liquid. Then the liquefied gas moves towards the dry chamber. Here the liquid gas is freed from all the impurities and is pushed to the evaporator through the expansion valves. The liquid gas absorbs the heat in the air and then gets evaporated. The blower of the fan of the air condition then helps to spread the air across the entire cabin of the car to make it cooler and comfortable inside. The same process is repeated again and again until the ac is turned off.
